Parental controls are tools that help you manage and monitor how children use devices, apps, and online services.

Parental Controls on Technicolor Routers

Technicolor routers offer basic time-based parental control features. These allow you to restrict internet access for specific devices during certain times and days—but not by website or content category.

Connect to your home Wi-Fi or use an Ethernet cable.

Open a browser and go to: http://192.168.1.1

Log in using the admin username and password (usually found on the bottom of the router).

Navigate to Parental Controls

From the main dashboard, go to Devices.

Click on the Time Control tab.

Create Access Rules

Click Add New Rule.

Select the device you want to restrict using its MAC address.

Choose whether to block or allow access during the specified time.

Set the Start Time, Stop Time, and Days of the Week.

Click Save to apply the rule [1] [2].

Limitations
