If your broadband is not working, you may see that your WiFi is connected but websites will not load, or your router may show a red or flashing light.
Symptoms
• WiFi shows connected but no internet
• Router light is red or flashing
• Web pages will not load
• Devices disconnect from WiFi
How to Fix the Problem
1. Restart your router
Turn the router off using the power button and wait 30 seconds before turning it back on.
2. Restart Fibre Box (If on Fibre)
Turn the Fibre box off using the power button and wait 30 seconds before turning it back on. The Fibre will take a minimum of 15 minutes to resync. Please follow the next steps while you wait.
3. Check all cables
Make sure the broadband cable is firmly connected to both the router and the wall socket.
4. Check the router lights
A red light usually indicates a connection issue.
5. Test your internet connection
Try opening a website or running a speed test.
If the issue continues, please check:
• Is the router light red?
