Fibre Broadband Connection Charges: Guernsey

If you are ordering a new fibre broadband service in Guernsey, the following connection charges apply based on your property's setup and your chosen contract.

Standard Fibre Installation

For customers starting a new fibre service on a 12, 24, or 36-month contract, there is a £55 connection charge. This fee covers both the installation and activation of your fibre broadband service.

Existing Installations & Missing Equipment

• Property with Existing ONT: If your property already has an Optical Network Terminal (ONT) installed and we can activate your service remotely, the standard £55 connection charge still applies.

• Missing or Damaged ONT: If we attempt a remote activation because an ONT is recorded at the property, but it is later discovered that the unit is missing or damaged, the connection charge will increase to £140. This fee covers the cost of replacing and installing a new ONT.

Upgrading from Copper to Fibre

If you currently have an active copper broadband service and would like to upgrade to fibre at the same address, we offer this transition with no connection charge.

• Free ONT Installation: The installation of the necessary equipment is included at no extra cost.

• Contract Requirement: To qualify for this free upgrade, you must agree to a new broadband contract. A new contract is mandatory when switching from copper to fibre.
