When should I swap my SIM?
You have recently changed or upgraded your phone and it requires a different-sized SIM.
Your phone has been lost or stolen.
Your current SIM card is no longer functioning.
Important: Back up your data
Please be aware that the majority of information stored directly on your old SIM card will be lost during a swap.
Before starting the swap process, ensure you have backed up all important contacts, photos, music, calendar entries, and any other files you may need.
How to complete a SIM swap
Prepare your new SIM: Before contacting us, ensure you have your new SIM card in your possession.
Locate your SIM number: You will need the 19-digit number printed on your new SIM card, which begins with 894455.
Contact our team: Call our Contact Centre on 01481700700.
Request the swap: Inform the agent that you would like to perform a SIM swap.
The agent will verify your identity by requesting your account password.
You will then be asked to provide the 19-digit number from your new SIM.
Activation: The agent will then transfer your mobile service to the new SIM. This process typically takes only a few minutes.
Using your new SIM: If your phone requests a PIN code when you first turn it on with the new SIM, please enter 0000.
