I can’t make outgoing calls / I can’t receive incoming calls

Here are a few things to check when you are unable to make outgoing calls and/or receive incoming calls

Reboot and Refresh

It’s always good to refresh and reboot your mobile when experiencing issues. Please turn the phone off and wait 2 minutes until turning back on.

Your phone has signal

On the top of your screen, you’ll typically see a few bars representing the strength of your signal. The more bars, the stronger the signal.

 Check the number you’re calling

Is the number you’re calling is the correct? Sometimes we can accidently mix up a couple of numbers when dialling, it’s best to check this. Also, if you are calling a non local number, please ensure you have entered the area code before calling.

 Check your balance

Please check the phone has enough credit if you are pay as you go. You can do this by dialling *#100#.

Test your sim

If possible, try your SIM card in another phone to rule out hardware issues with your device.

Check for software updates

Outdated software can cause connectivity issues. Ensure your phone is up to date.

Check your phone settings

Some features can accidently turn on themselves which would stop incoming calls, such as do not disturb.

If you have checked all these things and still can’t make outgoing calls, please contact our customer service team and raise a ticket here Submit a request – Sure Customer Support or call us on an alternative handset on 01481 700700.
